That court-ordered man of a few words, Bob Arum, minutes ago confirmed to Boxingconfidential.com that Manny Pacquaio’s next opponent will be rugged Mexican banger Humberto Soto on Oct. 6 and that “the leading candidate” as a site is Vancouver.
“We will have an announcement on Manny next Monday or Tuesday regardless if anything happens on the other situation (mediation discussions regarding the Pacquaio promotional rights lawsuit between Top Rank and Golden Boy),” Arum said Thursday night. “We are moving forward with Pacman’s next fight.”
